I haven't used water based finishes before so I thought I would try a couple different products. I've been using a 2 part polyurathane from McFadden that I liked but they went out of business.

Just purchased some em1000 sealer, em6000 and sc9000.
Is it ok to use the sealer under both types of topcoats?

Also,I've been using alcohol based aniline dyes on some guitars and would like to know if it's ok to use this with these finishes as long as the dye has had time to dry enough?

Any advice would be appreciated.
