SA5 Universal Retarder is specifically engineered to reduce the viscosity and slow down the dry-time of our waterborne coatings during high temperature applications and when our finishes are being applied with turbine HVLP spray equipment. When used at a ratio 5% by liquid volume, SA5 improves the flow and leveling of our finishes when used with underpowered turbine units. Also, when used at a ratio of 10-20%, SA5 improves the brushing and wiping actions of all our systems. SA5 is now functional in the newer EmTech Series finishes and sealers.
