The simple, low power two-stage turbines of yesterday have morphed into highly refined multi-stage workhorses that generate a surprising level of cfm for devises with such a small foot print. Coupled with the well-designed turbine-fed HVLP spray gun, you can have a very productive spray system with great portability. With this said, enter the Fuji Q5 Platinum HVLP Spray Turbine Kit.
The Fuji Spray Q5 Platinum™ Turbine Kit is the most powerful of the Fuji turbine family. The 5-stage turbine motor develops approximately 9.5 psi, which allows the user to apply our Emtech Water Based Finishes with improved fluid volume output and with better control of the atomization quality.
Q5 Platinum Turbine HVLP Kit Key Features
A key feature specific to the Q5 Platinum™ Series is the Variable Speed Control Dial. This control offers you the ability to adjust the psi/cfm to the optimum adjustment needed to perfectly atomize your coating and reduce the overspray/bounce-back to an absolute minimum.
The Heat Dissipation Chamber™ (HDC) expels excess heat from the turbine resulting in much cooler operating temperatures. This feature reduces the temperature of the atomization air, which in turn lowers the risk of drying the finish prematurely during the initial fluid atomization process. I have found this feature to be a great addition to the overall design of the Fuji Q5 Turbine.

Supplied with the Fuji Q5 Turbine is the very impressive Fuji T75G Non-bleed HVLP Spray Gun. Configured with a 1.3mm air cap, the T75G (“G” for gravity-fed) handles our Emtech water based clear coats with great atomization quality thanks to the pressurized gravity cup design. Fitted with an ergonomically-friendly fan pattern control knob – the fan size is adjustable from narrow to a full 10″ and is fully incremental.
