EMTECH EM1000 WB Universal Sanding Sealer

EMTECH® EM1000 Universal Sanding Sealer is an excellent choice for the wood finishing professional seeking to highlight and enhance the wood grain, colors, and figure of their woodworking projects. Our sanding sealer is designed with a small resin particle size that enables it to penetrate deeply into the wood cell structure providing exceptional clarity and magnification of wood figure and grain patterns. Its water clear format makes it the perfect vehicle for tinting to create your own water based stain or toner base coat. EM1000 is a water based wood sanding sealer that dries quickly, sands easily, and has an ultra-low VOC formula. The wood sanding sealer can be applied by spray, brush, or roller application methods.

Our EM1000 Universal Sanding Sealer is specifically designed as a base/sealer coat under all our CLEAR WB topcoats and finishes. DO NOT USE EM1000 Universal Sanding Sealer underneath Emtech HSF5000 Primer/Surfacer/GrainFiller or EM6500 and EM6600 Pigmented Lacquers. Application of EM1000 as a base coat under these products will create a crackle/crazing effect in the finish.

EMTECH EM2000wvx WB Alkyd Varnish

EMTECH® EM2000wvx, or Waterborne Alkyd Varnish is an excellent choice for those seeking a high quality water based varnish that is very easy to apply by spray, roller, and/or brush. This water based varnish is designed as a warm, clear wood finish that can be used in any interior/exterior application like windows, doors, wood ceilings, trim, yacht interiors, and much more. Our waterborne varnish will absorb UV light and age with a slight ambering effect just like an oil based varnish. In comparison to an oil based varnish, EM2000wvx has a faster dry and recoat time in an ultra-low VOC formula for better health and safety.

EMTECH EM6500 WB Bright White / Custom Tint Lacquer

EMTECH® EM6500 Pigmented Lacquer Series is our extremely popular water based pigmented lacquer paint system for the wood finishing professional and DIY finisher. You’ll love how easy this wood finish is to apply with a low spray pressure requirement and the versatility of hand application by brush or roller. EM6500 is available in a Bright White base and can be Factory Tinted to match any popular paint brand or a custom color from a customer provided color swatch. Our pigmented wood lacquer paint is fast drying, has superior leveling, and is a topcoat rated wood finish making it the perfect choice for kitchen cabinets, vanities, furniture, architectural millwork and much more.

EMTECH® EM7000hbl or High Build Lacquer, is a cool, ultra-clear, non-yellowing water based lacquer that provides a 100% burn-in functionality. Our high build lacquer is a unique, self-leveling clear coat designed as a superior wood lacquer for use in residential and commercial woodworking applications. This water based lacquer is also an excellent clear or “candy coat” over pigmented wood finishes. EM7000hbl is a Low VOC and safe alternative to flammable and hazardous oil-based and other solvent-based finishes.

Our polyurethane topcoat finish is very brush and roller friendly, has a low VOC formula, and contains sustainable components to make it the top choice as a final topcoat on all your high-end finishing projects.

We’ve set this gun up with a 1.4mm air cap set, 600cc nylon gravity cup and a mini-air regulator gauge to get you pointed in the right direction to spray all Emtech clear top coats such as the EM6000, EM7000, EM8000 and EM9300.
